Statement of Faith
The IRA Charitable Rollover is permanent law. If you are age 70-½ or older you can transfer up to $100,000 annually from your IRA or 401K accounts directly to charity without recognizing the distribution as income.
You will not have to pay income taxes on the money donated.
WELS Lutherans for Life is a qualified charity able to accept IRA rollover gifts.

Baby Bottle Blessing
Saves Lives
This ministry depends on the generosity of people like you! Take these three simple steps to participate in the Baby Bottle Blessing to help us continue our vital ministry sharing the Gospel and enabling women to choose life for their unborn child.
1. Contact Us
Contact us and indicate how many bottles or Changelopes* your church, school or organization would like and when and where to deliver them.
2. Distribute The Bottles
a: Simply distribute the bottles or Changelopes* to your congregation, school, or organization.
b: Be sure to announce your plan (from the pulpit) and
c: Include in weekly communications that you will be passing out the bottles or Changelopes*. We can provide announcements for your bulletin or school newsletter and bulletin board materials.
3. Collect The Bottles
Simply collect the bottles or Changelopes* on the day you have chosen for collection and plan for their return to our offices.

United Way
United Way "Donor Choice"
There are varying opinions on United Way, but one thing is undeniable—United Way involves a lot of people, raising a lot of money for non-profit organizations.
WELS Lutherans for Life is eligible to receive donations through the United Way “Donor Choice” program. Employees and Employers can designate WELS Lutherans for Life, Metro-Milwaukee as their recipient.
The United Way form and Options Card below are examples for demonstration purposes only*. The forms and/or card you receive from your employer to participate in a United Way campaign may be different.
WELS Lutherans for Life is only eligible through the Donor Choice, option 4 D (as highlighted below).
To direct your United Way payroll deduction the full name of the organization must be included along with the address. In the blank for designating your contribution, write:
"WELS Lutherans for Life, Metro-Milwaukee, 8501 W. Lincoln Avenue, West Allis, WI 53227"
